So, today.. I start some meds.
Horse pills and an inhaler.
Seriously, these pills are huge and quite intimidating. They're intended to knock out this persistent cough (bronchitis?).
But the size is quite intimidating. And everyone warns me gravely about the kick to my stomach they'll give me. So I took my first pill this morning, and have this irrational fear that the end is near.
I can be a bit over-dramatic, I admit this.
But I have coffee. So the end of the world could come about and I'd be off in my own little world right now.
Apparently my little "Day Dreaming" and "zone out" episodes may not be as innocent as they seem. They may be some sort of funky seizure called Absence Seizures. Won't know for sure until I get back from Florida though.
On the bright side, if I am diagnosed with that little annoyance: There are pills for it. And I'll officially have an excuse to ignore whatever I choose.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I wasn't ignoring you. No, really... It was just a little mini-seizure. Honest..."
I wonder if training and certifying a Seizure service dog depends on the severity of the seizures.... >.>...
Speaking of which. The Kong-Wobbler, BEST DOG TOY EVER! And apparently Bully-Proof so far. Patriot LOVES this thing. It keeps him busy for a long, long time. Without him running laps around the living room. Thats a miracle, you just don't understand how AMAZING that is. lol
I just fill it with kibble and a few treats. And the fun begins. I can sit back with my coffee and watch him be a (non-destructive) goof-ball.
He really is the most adorable nut of a dog in existence. (and available for adoption... hh-nn-ww)
Hopefully, he'll be good for Bobby while I'm gone.
I wish they made a smaller Kong Wobbler too. I'd love to get something like this for Freya. Fill it with a little baggy of catnip and some cat treats. She'd go wild!
I really should start packing for my trip next Tuesday. Excited doesn't begin to cover it!
